Joel Murphy (BFA MassArt, Boston; MFA UC San Diego) is an artist living in Brooklyn. He owns a business designing and fabricating electro-mechanical projects for artists and designers. He founded Banana Design Lab in 2005 as a product design company focused on “interactive lifestyle designs to entertain the soul”.
